WHY YOU SHOULD HIRE A PROFESSIONAL PARIS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
We have some important reasons why you should hire a professional wedding photographer in Paris, France:
- First of all it`s important to keep the memory alive. The wedding day is unique, it will never happen again. And thanks to the photo you will be able to remember every moment. A beautiful wedding photo shoot is necessary for the newlyweds themselves and their relatives. It is important for the children the couple may have.
- Once the wedding is over there is then an excitement about seeing your wedding photos, a chance to relive it all again while seeing moments of the day you may have missed, expressions on photos, or a set of photos that show a moment in the day with your guests you may have missed.
When the big day is over, apart from memories all you have are photos, photos you shall treasure, photos you shall show to friends, family and grand children. Make sure these are positive memories and not a book that reminds you how important photography is and how you wish you spent a bit more and hired a professional. - This is an opportunity to reduce pre-wedding nervousness, to get help from a professional who will tell you how to pose, and how to avoid popular mistakes so that your photos come out as lively and natural as possible. On this day, it’s hard to completely suppress the excitement and fear of doing something wrong. And when you have a professional wedding photographer, he is helps to get the right image without the hassle. During the shoot, the bride, as the primary model, will be able to focus entirely on herself, how she feels, what emotions she is experiencing, and what she wants to represent.
- A professional wedding photographer can perfectly convey the style of the celebration and visually highlight the mood. With the right choice of location and pose, the result will look light, airy, and gorgeous, even when it takes a lot of effort to create such an atmosphere.
- You can order just a wedding-style photo shoot. It is not necessary to be married. Such a photo shoot without a wedding itself is the best solution for those who, for various reasons, do not want to or cannot get married. But this photo shoot can also be taken by the bride and groom, whose wedding has already taken place, and they are not happy with the images they have received during their celebration.
How to Choose Your Wedding Photographer in Paris?
Your wedding photos will live with you forever, and their soul depends entirely on the person behind the camera. So choose with your heart, but verify with your eyes. Here is what truly matters:
The portfolio. Look for images that feel close to your spirit, frames that make you think “yes, this is us.” When you and your photographer see beauty the same way, a wordless understanding is born, and it shows in every picture.
Availability. A sought-after wedding photographer in Paris is rarely free tomorrow. A waiting list is not an inconvenience, it is a quiet promise of quality. I always recommend reserving your date as early as you can.
The equipment. I work with a professional Canon EOS R and a set of lenses chosen for different light and distances. You do not need to dive into technical details. What matters is that your photographer clearly knows her tools, because Parisian light is a capricious muse and deserves to be captured properly.
Reviews. Read what past couples say. A true professional gently guides you: how to stand, which pose flatters you, how to keep the sun from making you squint. During the shoot I am constantly searching for the perfect position for you within the scenery, the monuments, the water, the trees, the crowd. I become part of your team for the day, and my couples tell me this is exactly what makes the experience so joyful.
How Your Wedding Photoshoot Unfolds: Step by Step With Me
If you have chosen me as your wedding photographer, here is how our story together will go:
- We begin with a personal meeting in Paris or a video call. We discuss everything that matters: the route of the photoshoot, the scenario, the style of your celebration, and of course the price and everything it includes.
- We sign an agreement. Every detail is written into the contract, so you can feel completely at ease.
- You pay a 25% deposit. This reserves your date and, if needed, your location.
- Then comes the preparation. You can prepare on your own, or invite me and the specialists I work with (for an additional fee) to help you.
- On the day itself, we all arrive at the ceremony location a little early. I set up the equipment with the weather and the light in mind, while you get acquainted with the place and settle into the atmosphere.
- And then, the magic: the photoshoot itself. If everything is thoughtfully organized, all you need to do is trust me, follow my gentle guidance, and simply live your love in front of the camera.
- Photo editing. Your finished photos arrive within a month after our shoot.
- I deliver your photos in the format most convenient for you. We agree on this in advance, so there are no surprises.
Preparing for Your Wedding Photoshoot
A little preparation turns a beautiful photoshoot into an unforgettable one. Here is my heartfelt advice:
- Think through the looks of the bride and the groom, and the world around them. You two are the heart of every frame, so make sure no outfit around you shines brighter than yours.
- Get plenty of sleep the night before. Rested eyes and a fresh complexion are the most honest cosmetics in the world.
- Avoid experimenting with new skincare or makeup products right before the wedding. Your skin deserves calm, not surprises.
- Happy tears are welcome, they are part of the day. Just keep tissues nearby and dab gently instead of rubbing, and your makeup will survive even the most touching vows.
- Choose a hairstyle that celebrates the shape of your face. Your stylist will help you find the one.
- Let go of uncomfortable shoes. You will be on your feet for many hours, and comfort is what allows you to glide through the day with grace.
- Practice a few poses in front of the mirror beforehand. It takes ten minutes and gives you wonderful confidence.
Everything You Need for a Flawless Wedding Photoshoot
Breathtaking wedding photos in Paris begin long before the first click of the shutter. They are born from thoughtful, loving preparation, and I am here to take that weight off your shoulders. Alongside your photoshoot, you can add:
Decor and prop styling. Together we will design a setting that breathes romance, so every frame carries the exact atmosphere you have dreamed of.
A personal stylist. Your look will speak the language of your love story, and you will not have to worry about a single detail.
A makeup artist. On your wedding day, the bride deserves to feel like the most radiant woman in Paris, and a professional touch makes that certainty.
A pre-shoot consultation with your photographer. This is an additional paid session where I share everything that matters: how to prepare, how to turn every angle to your advantage, how the Parisian light will embrace you at your chosen hour. The better the preparation, the more magical the result.
Payment
You will know the exact price of your wedding photoshoot in advance, with no hidden surprises:
- A 25% deposit reserves your date.
- The remaining amount is paid on the day of the photoshoot, or as otherwise agreed. You can pay by cash or card.
Photo Editing and Retouching
Even the most careful preparation leaves room for the artistry of editing. If you plan to share your photos on social media or treasure them in an album, professional retouching makes them truly shine. I offer two levels: basic editing (tones, light, and contrast) and in-depth retouching (smoothing the skin, softening fine lines, taming stray strands of hair). As standard, 20 to 30 photos of your choice receive in-depth retouching, and additional images can be retouched for a fee.
Gift Certificates
A wedding photoshoot in Paris is a gift that outlives flowers and champagne. My certificates are elegantly designed and a joy to give. Choose from:
- A groom’s photo session. Personal preparation and one-on-one work with the groom.
- A bride’s photo session. The same loving attention, devoted entirely to the bride.
- All-inclusive. A complete turnkey experience, from the first consultation to the finished gallery.
